Who plays with Rukmini; who dazzles in yellow silk;

Dakshasuyajnavinaashanalingam Tat Pranamaami Sadashivalingam (4)
Decorated with gold and other precious gems; dazzling with the greatest serpents surrounding it;
That which destroyed the Yajna (grand sacrifice) of Daksha; I offer my salutations to the eternal Shiva Lingam

Paraathparam Paramaathmakalingam Tat Pranamaami Sadashivalingam (8)
Worshipped by the preceptor of Gods (Brihaspati) and the best of Gods; That which is always offered flowers from the celestial garden;
That which is superior than the best and is the greatest; I offer my salutations to the eternal Shiva Lingam
