वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सुर्यकोटि समप्रभ 
निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा 

Vakrathunda mahakaya Suryakoti Samaprabha
Nirvighnam Kuru Me Deva Sarvakaryeshu Sarvadha

(O Ganesha) Who has a curved trunk, large body and the splendor of a million suns
Make my work obstacle-free always O Deva (God)

गजाननं भूतगणादि सेवितं
कपित्थ जम्बूफलसार भक्षितम् 
उमासुतं शोक विनाशकारणं
नमामि विघ्नेश्वर पादपङ्कजम् ॥


Gajananam Bhoothaganadhi Sevitham
Kapittha Jambhuphalasara Bhakshitham
Umasutham Shoka Vinashakaranam
Namami Vighneshwara Padhapankajam

O Gajanana (one with an elephant face)!
Who is served by the Bhuthaganas (celestial attendants) and others;
Who eats the essence of kapittha (wood apple) and jambhu (rose apple) fruits;
Who is the son of Devi Uma (Parvathi) and is the destroyer of sorrows;
I offer my prayers at your lotus feet, Vighneswara (God who removes all obstacles)

गणेशपञ्चरत्नम् (Ganesha Pancharatnam)

मुदाकरात्तमोदकं सदा विमुक्तिसाधकं
कलाधरावतंसकं विलासिलोकरक्षकम् ।
अनायकैकनायकं विनाशितेभदैत्यकं
नताशुभाशुनाशकं नमामि तं विनायकम् 

Mudakaratthamodakam Sadha Vimukthisadhakam
Kaladharavathamsakam Vilasilokarakshakam
Anayakaikanayakam Vinashithebhadhaithyakam
Nathashubhashunashakam Namami Tham Vinayakam

He holds the Divine Joy in his hand as Modaka and readily bestows salvation
He wears the digit of the moon as an ornament and happily protects the world
He has no leader, but is Himself the supreme leader of His devotees; He protects them by destroying the (inner) demons
He destroys the evil tendencies; I pray to you O Vinayaka!

अगजानन पद्मार्कं गजाननं अहर्निशम् ।
अनेकदंतं भक्तानां एकदन्तं उपास्महे ॥

Agajanana Padmarkkam Gajananam Aharnisham
Anekadamtam Bhaktaanaam Ekadantam Upasmahe

Akin to the rays from the lotus face of Gauri (Devi Parvathi) that are always on Her beloved son Gajanana (one with an elephant face),
I worship you O Ekadanta (one with one tusk), who keeps showering grace on His devotees and grants their wishes

मूषिकवाहन मोदकहस्त
चामरकर्ण विलम्बितसूत्र ।
वामनरूप महेस्वरपुत्र
विघ्नविनायक पाद नमस्ते ॥

Mooshikavahana Modakahastha
Chamarakarna Vilambithasoothra
Vamanaroopa Maheshwaraputhra
Vighnavinayaka Padha Namasthe

Whose vehicle is the mooshika (mouse); Who holds a modaka in his hand;
Who has fan-like large ears; Who wears the long sacred thread;
Who is short in stature; Who is the son of Lord Maheshwara (Shiva);
O Vinayaka, who removes all obstacles; I surrender at your feet

शुक्लाम्बरधरं विष्णुं शशिवर्णं चतुर्भुजम् ।
प्रसन्नवदनं ध्यायेत् सर्वविघ्नोपशान्तये ॥

Shuklambaradharam Vishnum Shashivarnam Chathurbhujam
Prasannavadhanam Dhyayeth Sarvavighnopashanthaye

Who wears white clothes; Is all-pervading; Is of the color of the moon; Has four hands;
Has a cheerful face; Let us meditate Him (Ganesha) to annihilate all the obstacles
